There were amazing beds and central heating, a coffee/tea maker and a work desk in the classic quadruple room. The staff were efficient and excellent day and night. The location was beautiful and excellent, just off the coast and the motor way. Also, Shap Abbey was 2 km away.

It had favourable location, so close to the restaurant/pub and Penrith and the motor way. Furthermore, on the coast to coast route.
The bathroom was a little small.

I really enjoyed the cozy atmosphere and the delicious roast dinner . It was nice to unwind on the sun terrace after a long day of walking. The only downside was that my room got a bit noisy from the busy road outside. 😊

Amazing service and comfy stay!
Nichola was super helpful when I needed to change our dates, even on her day off. The twin room was really modern and comfy. Loved hanging out in the bar area, good vibes. Just wish the Wi-Fi was faster, had a bit of trouble streaming my shows.

Peaceful stay with tasty food!
Had a lovely night. The food was a real highlight-both dinner and brekkie were great! Our room was cozy and super quiet, made for a nice chill vibe. One small letdown? The check-in took a bit long. But overall, it was a nice little escape for the fam.
